Which is the closest airport?

The closest airport is the John Wayne Airport-Orange County (SNA), 14 miles. Alternate airports are Long Beach Airport (LGB), 18 miles, and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), 35 miles.

What COVID-19 precautions should I expect at the Potato Expo?

This year’s Potato Expo will include several precautions to help our guests feel safe and comfortable while maintaining opportunities for valuable in-person networking and content. Consistent with the health requirements in Anaheim and the State of California, you can expect the following while attending this year’s Potato Expo:

  • Effective September 20, 2021, the City of Anaheim has mandated that for a group the size of the Potato Expo everyone attending a conference must wear a mask indoors and show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. This policy will be updated November 1. We will make announcements if there are changes.
  • Hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes will be provided for attendee use. We encourage our attendees to wash their hands and use hand sanitizer frequently throughout your time at the Potato Expo.
  • When possible, indoor event halls and spaces will be modified to encourage physical distancing.

What if I register for the Potato Expo but no longer feel comfortable traveling by January?

Since we recognize that corporate travel policies and local circumstances may change over the next few months, you can cancel your registration by December 17, 2021. All cancellation requests must be made in writing and email to questions@potato-expo.com. A refund of the conference fee, minus a $100 administrative fee, will be given for the cancellations received by that date. No refunds will be granted for registration cancellation requests received after December 17, 2021.

Attendee FAQs

What forms of payment do you accept? Do you accept personal checks?

Potato Expo accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. Potato Expo does not accept checks or cash for payment.

Can I attend the Potato Expo for one day? Is there a daily pass available?

One day passes are not available.

How do I modify my contact information on my registration?

I’m no longer able to attend. Can I substitute my registration for someone else?

Substitution of registrations is permitted until December 31. Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant. To request a substitution, email questions@potato-expo.com with the registered attendee’s confirmation number and the name, company, address, and email of the attendee the registration is being transferred to. 

How do I cancel my registration?

All Attendee registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing by December 17, 2021. A refund of the conference fee, minus a $100 administrative fee, will be given for cancellations received by that date. No refunds will be granted for registration cancellation requests received after December 17, 2021. Submit all requests to Potato Expo Registration via email at questions@potato-expo.com. The Potato Expo regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows. 

Can I get a receipt for my registration?

Receipts are included as part of the confirmation email. To be re-sent this information, please email questions@potato-expo.com.

Can I talk to someone over the phone if I have questions about online registration?

Yes, if you would like assistance registering over the phone send an email to questions@potato-expo.com. A staff member will contact you to assist you in processing your registration.

Can family members attend Potato Expo?

Yes, there is both a Spouse Registration and a Child Registration available to attend the Potato Expo in person. For details on what the registrations include, click here.

Is there a spouse pass? What’s included with the spouse pass?

We offer a reduced pass for your spouse. For details on what the Spouse Pass includes, click here.

What is the age limit for children?

A Child Registration Pass is available for children under 18 years of age. For details on what the Child Registration includes, click here. Admission for children ages 5 and under is complimentary. Badges for children ages 5 and under may be requested on-site at the registration desk.

How do I add my spouse and/or children to my registration?

If you are already registered, email questions@potato-expo.com.

How do members of the media register for an official press badge?

Members of the media should contact media@potato-expo.com. Please provide your full name, email, phone number, publication name and website, and your position with the publication.

Exhibitor FAQs

How do I update the name of our company, company description, or primary company contact?

Email exhibit@potato-expo.com to request a name change for your company or to update the primary company contact. Company descriptions can be updated through the Exhibitor Service Center.

How do I access the Exhibitor Service Center?

You can access the Exhibitor Service Center by clicking here. Login information is included in the Exhibit Booth confirmation email. You can also request your password be sent through a link on the Exhibitor Service Center login page.

What is the contact information for the trade show service contractor?

What is our booth number for the trade show?

Booth numbers can be found in the Exhibit Booth confirmation email or on the 2022 Exhibitor List.

Can I move our booth to a new location?

Yes, exhibitors can request to transfer their booth to any available booth. Click here to view the trade show floorplan. Available booths are shown in green. Email your request to exhibit@potato-expo.com. Once the transfer is processed, you will receive a confirmation email.

What is the address for the Certificate of Insurance and where do I send it?

National Potato Council, 50 F Street, NW Suite 900, Washington, DC 20001.

Certificates of Insurance should be uploaded in the Exhibitor Service Center. All exhibitors must submit a Certificate of Insurance and proof of Workers’ Compensation by December 17, 2021.

How much does it cost to exhibit at Potato Expo 2022?

The cost to exhibit at the Potato Expo 2022 is $2,375 until November 5. Click here for more information.

When will I receive my exhibitor badge?

You can pick up your badge and registration materials onsite at the registration desk.

How many complimentary passes come with my booth? How do I register my comp passes?

Each 10×10 booth comes with two complimentary All-Access Passes. You can assign complimentary passes through the Exhibitor Service Center. Your login information can be found in the Exhibit Booth confirmation email.  

Can I purchase a Trade Show Only Pass?

In 2022, All-Access Passes are the only registration option.

What do I do if I accidentally paid for a registration pass instead of using a complimentary pass included with our booth?

What booth equipment is provided?

Each 10′ deep x 10′ wide booth comes with 10′ high navy blue and white drape, 3′ navy blue side dividers, one (1) 6′ x 30″ white skirted table, two (2) chairs, one (1) wastebasket, and an identification sign. Please note that the exhibit hall is carpeted, therefore, you are not required to carpet your exhibit booth.

What are the guidelines for setting up my booth?

The Potato Expo follows the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) Guidelines for Display Rules & Regulations.

How do I order additional tables and furniture, carpeting or labor for my booth?

For information about ordering additional tables and furniture, carpeting, labor, etc. for your booth, use the Willwork Exhibit & Event Services Kit.

What is the deadline for advance ordering discounts for additional tables and furniture, or labor for my booth?

Order by Friday, December 17, 2021, to receive discounted rates. Ordering information can be found in the Willwork Exhibit & Event Services Kit.

Do I need to order carpet for my booth?

The exhibit hall is carpeted, therefore, you are not required to carpet your booth.

What are the max dimensions of the load in door for the exhibit hall?

All exhibit booth materials and equipment will be loaded into the exhibit hall through the overhead door which is 172″ wide by 119.5” high.

What is the size of a booth?

10’ deep by 10’ wide.

Can I order compressed air?

Yes, you can order compressed air through Elden at anaheim@edlen.com.

Where do I ship my materials in advance?

Willwork will accept materials at their advance warehouse starting Monday, November 29 through Wednesday, December 29, 2021. Any materials arriving after 3:30pm on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 will be received at the warehouse with an additional after deadline charge of 40%. Please note that the advanced warehouse will be closed December 23, 24 and 31.

The last day for shipments to arrive the advance warehouse is Wednesday, December 29.

What is the address to ship my materials directly to the Anaheim Convention Center?

Willwork will be on site to receive direct shipments to the Anaheim Convention Center – NORTH on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM ONLY.

The ACC North prefers NOT TO RECEIVE Exhibitor Materials as they do not have sufficient storage space or personnel. If you choose to ship to ACC North and your shipment arrives prior to Tuesday, January 4, 2022at 8:00 AM you may incur a receiving charge by ACC North AND a receiving charge from Willwork.

What are the exhibitor move-in and move-out hours?

Exhibitor move-in: Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 11:00am – 6:00pm and Wednesday, January 5 from 8:00am – 10:00am.

Exhibitor move-out: Thursday, January 6, from 5:00pm – 10:00pm, and Friday, January 7, 8:00am – 12:00pm. Outside carriers must be checked in by 9:30pm on Thursday, January 6.

NOTE: From 5:00pm – 6:00pm the Expo Hall will be turned into a construction site while the carpeting is prepped with Visqueen. EVERYONE MUST be out of the aisles until 6:00pm.
