Idaho Potato Commission Partnership With American Diabetes Association

Potatoes are not the enemy of those living with diabetes. The Idaho Potato Commission is a proud supporter of the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and a participant in the Better Choices for Life Program. Together, the Idaho Potato Commission and the ADA are working to enhance the understanding of nutrition and how potatoes can be part of a healthy eating plan for people with, or at risk for, diabetes. Idaho Potatoes can be a nutritious and healthy source of carbohydrates when service size and preparation recommendations are followed. Hear about how fresh Idaho Potatoes became the first vegetable to meet the ADA’s Better Choices for Life guidelines.
