On October 14, USDA\u2019s Animal Plant Health Inspection Service released a comprehensive report<\/a> on the current status of the potato wart crisis on Prince Edward Island, Canada, stating that PEI\u2019s potato wart infestation is \u201clikely\u201d larger than reported and that the disease is \u201calmost certain to be introduced\u201d to the United States without additional mitigation measures in place.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
